Disclaimer

Please read this before relying on Waymark where a misunderstanding could matter.

  • The app comes as is, without warranty.
  • Translations and allergen labels can be wrong.
  • Cloud services are run by other companies, under their own terms.

Provided as is

Waymark is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. There's no promise that it will be error-free or always available.

Translations can be wrong

Translation, speech recognition and text recognition, on the device or through Cloud, can be wrong, incomplete or miss nuance. Don't rely on Waymark alone where a mistake could be serious, such as medical, legal, safety or official matters; use a qualified interpreter.

Food allergies

Allergen labels and Survival Cards are a help, not a guarantee that food is safe. Labels cover only what Waymark recognises in the text, menus often don't list every ingredient, and translations can be wrong. If you have an allergy, always confirm with the staff. To the extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for any reaction or harm.

Not an emergency service

Waymark can't call for help. In an emergency, contact the local emergency services.

Cloud services

If you use Cloud, the company you choose handles your requests under its own terms, sets its own prices and may change or stop its service. The developer isn't responsible for those services, their charges, or what they do with what you send. Set a spending limit with the provider.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer isn't liable for any direct or indirect damage from using, or being unable to use, the app, including misunderstandings caused by a translation.

Your rights

Some places don't allow certain limits on liability; there, these limits apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer law.
