#Privacy Policy

Waymark is built so there is no server of ours between you and the person you're talking to. This policy explains what stays on your iPhone, and what goes to a provider, only if you choose one.

##What we collect

Nothing. Waymark has no accounts, analytics, advertising or servers. The developer never receives your conversations, photos or any information about how you use the app.

##What stays on your iPhone

Translation history (text, languages and time) is stored only on this iPhone, encrypted while the device is locked, and kept out of iCloud and backups. Deleted items stay in the trash for 30 days, then are removed for good. If you turn history off, conversations stay on screen only and are cleared when you close the app or leave it in the background for more than 3 minutes.

##Microphone, speech and camera

The microphone is used only while you speak to be translated, and the audio is deleted as soon as each sentence has been transcribed. On the device, speech is transcribed by iOS without being sent to Apple. The camera is used only to translate text in a picture, and photos aren't saved. Each permission is asked for the first time you use it and can be turned off in iOS Settings.

##Cloud, only if you turn it on

If you add your own API key for a task, what that task needs (the text, the photo, or the recorded sentence, and text to be read aloud) goes directly from your iPhone to the provider you chose, such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud or OpenRouter. It is handled under that provider's own terms and privacy policy and never passes through us. If you enter a custom server address, such as a relay or proxy, its owner can see everything sent through it; use only one you run or trust.

##Keys

API keys are kept only in this iPhone's Keychain. They aren't synced to iCloud or included in backups. Erase All Keys & Conversations in Settings removes keys, history (including Trash) and conversations in one tap.

##Language packs

On-device translation uses language packs that iOS downloads from Apple when you ask for them.

##Purchases

Purchases and downloads are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Apple may share anonymous sales figures and, if you agree to it in iOS Settings, crash reports with developers. These never include your conversations.

##This website

stillmark.download is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, trackers, third-party fonts or scripts. Cloudflare processes standard connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site, under its own privacy policy.

##Children

Waymark is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, children included. If Cloud is turned on, the chosen provider's own age rules apply.

##Your rights

Because the developer holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side; your history is under your control on your iPhone. This includes your rights under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
