Sure, no coriander.
You said: No coriander, please.
English
One job, done well: two people understanding each other.
Open the app and tap the microphone. No sign-in, no ads, nothing in the way.
Face to Face
The top half of the screen turns toward the other person; the bottom half faces you. Whoever taps their microphone can speak. When they finish, Waymark translates and reads it aloud.
Two-language chat
For sitting side by side, or checking a translation on your own. Speak or type in either language, play any bubble aloud, or open it as a Big Card for the other person to read.
Image Translation
Photograph a menu, sign or label, or pick a picture. Every line is translated, prices, times and numbers are pulled out, and allergens are flagged.
麻婆豆腐 ¥28Mapo tofu, Sichuan tofu with chili · ¥28 · ⚠︎ Soy
Survival Cards
400 phrases you need on the spot, translated into all 16 languages, with readings to help you say them. They work in a subway with no signal.
我对花生严重过敏wǒ duì huāshēng yánzhòng guòmǐn · I am severely allergic to peanuts
Big Card
One tap fills the screen with the translation, turned for the other person to read, with a flashlight for dark places. Easy for a taxi driver to read at night.
History on this device
Look back at what was said, search it, delete it, and restore it within 30 days. Kept on this device only, and you can turn it off at any time.
No internet? You can still talk.
Everything works on the device first. If you've added a Cloud key, Waymark uses it when there's a connection, and if an answer takes longer than 3 seconds, it goes back to the device. You're never left waiting at the roadside.
Survival Cards
The phrasebook is inside the app.
Always
Reading text in photos
Uses iPhone's own text recognition.
Always
Translating conversations and photos
Download language packs on Wi-Fi. Needs iOS 18 or later.
Once downloaded
Listening to speech
Depends on the language and iPhone model. The app shows which languages it can hear on the device.
Most languages
Reading aloud
Uses the voices that come with iPhone.
Most languages
Food allergies, said clearly before you order.
Survival Cards include severe-allergy phrases in every language. When translating a menu, Waymark puts a red label on ingredients that are major allergens on the EU list, plus pork and beef.
Recognised on the device
Also recognised with Cloud
Labels are a help, not a promise that food is safe. Menus don't always list every ingredient. If your allergy is severe, show the Survival Card and ask every time.
Yours, on your device.
There is no server of ours in the middle, so we have nothing of yours to keep.
- With Cloud, your iPhone talks directly to the provider you chose, not through us.
- Audio is deleted as soon as it has been transcribed. No recordings are kept.
- Translation history stays on this device only: encrypted while it's locked, not in iCloud and not in backups.
- API keys stay in this device's Keychain. Keys, history and conversations can be erased in one tap.
16 languages, paired freely
Each side can choose any language. Survival Cards are translated into all of them. On-device translation and listening depend on what Apple supports on your iPhone, and Settings › Offline Translation tells you plainly.
